If you want to use it you'll need to download the free Flash Player from Macromedia. If you do have the Flash Player installed and this script is incorrectly stopping you from seeing Radio Rice you can bypass the detection if you wish.
Radio Rice is a small Flash program that lets you listen in live to the soundtrack of the Stan's Cafe show Of All The People In All The World. During the show the performers use a microphone connected to the loudspeakers in the venue (known as the Tannoy) to tell the audience about new developments in the show and to communicate with each other.
The computer that generates the show's soundtrack records the announcements and adds them to a podcast feed. The Radio Rice player checks that feed at regular intervals and plays each new announcement as soon as it is available.
There are two different versions of the player. If you have a Macintosh computer running Tiger you can download the Radio Rice player as a Dashboard Widget. If you are using Windows or an older Mac there is a version that runs in a small pop-out window in your web browser.
Current Status:
Radio Rice will be live 12:00 - 21:00 from 13th September to 5th October 2008. Meanwhile these announcements are pre-recorded clips from previous performances.
There are 0 people listening to Radio Rice at the moment.
